  • Join Lily in the ultimate deep dive into achieving your desired fit. This eight week live virtual course is designed to allow you to focus on the nitty gritty of underwired bra fitting, with access to Lily’s wealth of bra fitting knowledge. You’ll learn how to make adjustments for different breast shapes (e.g. dealing with inner fullness, projection) as well as torso shape (e.g. protruding ribs, etc) and some background info on pattern drafting/grading to aid in understanding.
  • This is an intermediate level course. It is expected that participants know the basics of sewing a bra, fitting band, and tester cups. NO BRA CONSTRUCTION, DRAFTING OR GRADING WILL BE COVERED - ONLY ADVANCED FITTING TECHNIQUES.
  • Participants should be able to sew an underwired bra following pattern instructions, make basic adjustments to flat patterns, true seams of pattern pieces, basic knowledge of their own breast anatomy, basic knowledge of bra anatomy

Considering that I took 2 bra patternmaking courses, and have read and used reference books like the Bare Essentials: Bras by Jennifer Lynne-Fairbanks, Demystifying Bra Fitting and Construction by Norma Loehr and The Bra Technologically Feminine: The Art and Science of Bra Pattern Drafting and Making; I don't believe it would have taken me this little to reach my goal if I had continued experimenting on my own. I also consider that Lily's masterclass in bra fit should be added to the list of mandatory resources to be a great bra maker.

I was real pleased with the systematic approach to getting a fitting bra. Get pattern parts that are a close fit (under wires, cradle then cup). Trusting that process is key. Seeing a good fit is a goal. I am amazed with Lilly's vision and would have loved more work in that direction. It was good to see examples and see results within the class. It is a class of self motivation as Lilly presents lots of information! Listen & learn. The class supplements were very helpful for needed adjustments. Personally, I would like a side class in fit where examples and resolution are presented. I see it as a different class then the master class. Thank you

When I signed up for this class I was mainly interested in getting a better fit. This class gave me much more than that. It gave me a process to follow, an approach to fitting that I didn't have before. Also, I learned so much about my shape that before I suspected but was never really sure. I learned about different patterns, what to look for, and how to go about altering these patterns. I feel more confident now that I can make these patterns fit and have something comfortable. I finally know what I need in a wire, and that yes, I am projected, and slightly omega, and that I have inner fullness. Knowing about my shape, helps me to know what I will need to do when working with a pattern and where to start. I highly recommend this class even if you have many years of experience. There is so much information to learn in this class! It is well worth the time and money.
